The Winter Olympics are almost here… and long time readers know what that means…
Just like clockwork the US Bank Flexperks sign up is back with an additional bonus based on the US team medal count. Six years ago, I picked up this card and it turned out to be a lucrative sign up bonus!
This year, they’ve increased the minimum to 25,000 points. The standard sign up bonus is 20,000 points. During the Winter Olympics, each medal is worth more points than the summer Olympics.
FlexPoints will expire at the end of the calendar quarter, at 11:00 p.m. Central Time, that is five (5) years from the date on which they were earned.
Existing and previous FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa accounts do not qualify for the Visa PyeongChang Bonus FlexPoints for a similar account type.
No foreign transaction fees.
