More on Thank You Points
Earning Points. You can earn Thank You points from every day spending on your card (2x points on dining and entertainment purchases and 1x points on everything else).
Tiered Spending Requirements. I’m not sure if the two-tier approach to hitting spending requirements is going to become the new norm, but this one is much easier than the Citi Thank You Premier Card bonus we highlighted last week since you don’t have to worry about an annual fee.
Redeeming Points. There are a lot of different ways you can redeem your Thank You points (merchandise, gift cards, etc.) As I’ve mentioned before my favorites are mortgage or student loan payments. Here is how to maximize your Citi Thank You points.

I applied for this card 4 months ago and the offer is reversed!! I received 20k points after the 1500 spend and now have to wait for 3 months to spend the other 1500 and then get 10k points. This offer is reversed. BUT… you must wait the 3 months for the second round of spending to get the rest of the points. I have it writing from the CSR that if you spne the second 1500 before the 90 days are up, you don’t get the extra points. So just keep track!!
barryThanks for the tip Barry! The directions on the second set of spending requirements were rather vague, so it helps to know exactly what they are expecting!
