Use Paribus to Get Your Money Back Automatically
We all know when an item we purchased drops in price, we’re supposed to head back to the merchant and ask for a price adjustment. But if you are like me… it rarely gets done!
Now there’s a new company, Paribus, that gets you your money back with almost no interaction on your part. I’m truly intrigued!
As a consumer, I think this is brilliant. As an Amazon reseller who purchases a large volume of inventory, I think the potential to get money back is huge!
How to Get Money from Paribus
- Open a new Paribus account.
- Link your email address.
- Paribus will detect purchases, monitor and compare price changes/coupons in real time, and engage with stores on your behalf by filing claims to get you paid.
- Automatically get your money back on price adjustments.

What is the Cost? If Paribus doesn’t earn you any money back, you won’t be charged. When they succeed, you’ll pay them 25% of the proceeds. They offer your first claim for free. You need to provide a credit card to pay for their commission on future charges.
Security. You need to link your email for Paribus to monitor your sales receipts. In addition they ask for permission to send email from your account (this is how they send automated emails on your behalf). To be truthful, this frightened me a little. If you are worried, I think setting up a separate gmail account just for purchases that works with Paribus might be a good idea.
Merchants. They currently support purchases from Amazon, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, BestBuy, Sephora, Newegg.com, Staples, Target, Bonobos, Jcrew, Zappos, Nordstrom, Banana Republic, GAP, Old Navy, Athleta, Piperlime and Walmart.
Amazon Links. To use the service with Amazon, you need to link your Amazon account. All the other merchants use the email feature.
Referrals. You can get $5 for each friend you refer to Paribus until June 30, 2015.
