Comments to Discover Open Road $150 Sign Up Bonus

  1. Hi Kate, I hate to be the wet blanket here, but I have been doing certificates for a few years now. $25 ‘half-price’ certificates routinely go on sale for $2 (down from $12.50) with other values also being marked down similarly.
That would make the actual value of this deal only $6 which hardly seems worth it.

  2. Considering that $25 gift cards can usually be had for $6-10, this is hardly a good deal for signing up for a credit card.

  3. Thanks for the catch, Rory and Mark!

I haven’t used before, so now that I see how cheap you can get the gift certificates for, it’s definitely something I’m going to check out!

Readers, you may want to skip this offer, and instead go for the Discover $100 Bonus we covered previously if you are looking for a Discover sign up bonus.
