Discover just rolled out a new double cashback promotion with their Discover it Sign Up Bonus.
The good news? The double cashback promotion is available for existing cardholders and it doubles our quarterly rotating cash rewards to 10%!

How to Get Your Double Cashback
- Call (1-800-DISCOVER) or send a message to Discover.
- Request to be enrolled in the Discover Double Cash Promotion by
July 31, 2015.
- Earn double cash back for the next 12 statement cycles.
- The bonus cashback will be posted at the end of 12 months.
Update: It looks like Discover ended the sign up period early for existing customers. Hopefully, lot of readers enrolled while it was available. You can still get the double cashback with a new Discover it card. See the cash back category in our credit card directory for links to the current offer.
Terms and Conditions
- No annual fee on the Discover it card.
- Offer available to new and existing cardmembers.
- You will not earn the double cashback if your account is closed on the reward date.

Unfortunately the facts of this article are not correct. The offer is only for NEW cardholders. I emailed Discover and they confirmed that no current cardholders would receive the deal.
Yes, it looks like Discover ended the promotion early. Art (see the Facebook comments above) chatted with Discover and they said they ended it on June 23. I hope lots of readers got in on it before they took it away.
