Chase Ultimate Rewards, which is tied to various Chase credit cards, lets you earn cashback for your online purchases (in addition to the regular credit card cash back).
Chase Ultimate Rewards is the online shopping portal connected to your Chase credit card. Login with your Chase credit card and click through to the store you’re buying from. It’s just like some of the standalone cashback sites, but it’s connected to your Chase credit card.
Log in with different Chase cards. For example, the Chase Freedom, Sapphire, and Ink Bold cards have different cash back amounts. Depending on which card you use to login, you’ll see different options. If your Chase cards are under the same login, you can switch your accounts once you are logged in to get the highest payout. There’s a great website which actually tracks the differences for each card.
Stack 5% Cash Back. The Chase Freedom 4th quarter 5% cash back bonus is for purchases at Kohls and Best Buy this quarter. Or if you are shopping at office supply stores, you can stack the 5x points from the Ink Bold card with the Chase UR points. You can earn the 5% cash back in addition to anything you get from clicking through the Chase UR.
Offers rotate each month. The cashback percentages for each store change monthly. I always check cashbackholic to see if the Chase UR mall is the highest paying cash back program before each purchase.
Pick up in store. A couple readers, Jacob and Sal, suggested a great tip, buy online to get the cash back, but then use the pick-up in store option to get your merchandise right away. You can also avoid shipping charges this way.
Redemption. Once you earn your points, be sure to check out the Best Way to Maximize Chase Ultimate Rewards Points.
If you don’t already have a Chase card, here are some options that use Chase Ultimate Rewards:
