American Express offers a sign up bonus of 10,000 membership rewards points. The 10,000 bonus points are worth $100 in gift cards.

You can pool your MR points across multiple cards and use this card to keep your points from expiring if you close other cards. After picking up multiple platinum cards (American Express Platinum, the Business Platinum and the Schwab platinum cards) with hefty annual fees I needed a card with no annual fee to use as a storage place for the points in the future.
