Blackout Dates. Hyatt says no blackout dates but I did have a bit of trouble booking my rooms initially because no standard rooms were available. However, I called the Hyatt back a week later and the rooms had opened up so I was able to switch the reservation. Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum Membership. As long as you are a cardmember, you’ll receive this Hyatt Platinum membership perk. The card also allows you to earn 3 points/dollar when used at Hyatt properties & 1 point/dollar everywhere else.
No foreign transaction fees. No foreign transaction fees are a great perk for people who travel often or who are taking a big trip abroad where those pesky fees will really add up.
How much I saved! The two rooms I needed to book for a wedding were $299/night + tax. Even after the $75 annual fee, I came out way ahead! Hyatt hotels can be pricey so some of you may think this card isn’t useful but I disagree – $75 for two nights at any hotel is pretty great and weddings, honeymoons, etc. may make the savings even more relevant for you.
