Capital One $25 Sign Up Bonus for Kids and Teens
We recently covered the Capital One 360 $25 Sign Up Bonus for adults. Something that sets Capital One apart from other online savings accounts is the ability for kids and teens to earn a sign up bonus.
Kids can earn a $25 sign up bonus when they open a savings or bank account. We opened these accounts for all three of my kids as soon as they were born!

- Open a new Capital One Kids account.
- Add a new customer (your child) to the bank.
- Earn a $25 bonus.
Terms and Conditions
- Bonus starts earning interest upon account opening, but is unavailable for withdrawal for 30 days.
- Kids Savings Accounts cannot be used for business, power of attorney, beneficiary or individual retirement accounts.

Access for Kids. Once you set up your account, your kids can get their own user name and pin to login and view their balance and activity on their account. It’s a great way to check off one of the 4 Financial Lessons to Teach Kids During Summer Vacation!
Fees. The Capital One savings account has no minimum balance and no fees.
Online Deposit. Your first deposit must be from a personal checking account belonging to the adult listed on the account. You’ll link your checking account and transfer the money electronically.
Add a Money Account with a Debit Card. Teens can earn an additional $25 bonus if you open a MONEY account and make 1 debit card purchase. The debit card uses Allpoint ATMs for free.
Referrals. Kids can also earn referral money. Each of my kids referred a sibling to earn additional bonuses. The current bonus is $20 (normally $10) for referring your friends right now.
