American Express is giving out statement credits again! It’s our Featured Deal this week! American Express Offers is giving out statement credits for shopping at various retailers this season.
How to Get Your Shopping Statement Credits
- Login to your American Express account online.
- Scroll down to the “Offers For You” tab.
- Select the offer and “Save Offer”.
- Use your enrolled Card to meet the required spend for each offer.
- Get a one-time statement credit.

I found lots of other great offers for holiday shopping, including the following:
- Kohls: Get $10 back when you spend $50
- JC Penney: Spend $50 or more, get $10 back
- Toys R Us: Spend $25, get $5 back
- Lowe’s: Spend $50, get $10 back
- Costco.com: Spend $115 or more, get $15 back
- Walmart.com: Spend $79, get $20 back
- Best Buy: Spend $250 or more, get $25 back
There are many more in addition to the ones above. Unfortunately, the popular $25 statement credit for spending $75 at Amazon.com expired earlier this week. If you already saw it listed and loaded it to your offers, you can still see it under the “My Offers” tab and you are still eligible to redeem it until 12/31/2013.
American Express Terms & Conditions
- Must add offer to Card and use same Card to redeem.
- Enrollment is limited.
- Limit 1 statement credit per American Express Card across all American Express offer channels.
- Most offers expire on 12/31/2013; see each offer for deadline.
- Statement credits will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after expiration dates, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.

the Loews and Walmart offers are expired. The Kohls offer is not good since you must use the Kohls CC in order to get the 30% off/Kohls Cash back or other discounts. With this Amex offer, you could only use it without the Kohls discounts.

I wonder if the expiration dates are different for each person? I just logged into my accounts and I see both the Lowe’s and the Walmart offers are still valid and can be added to my account.
You’re right on Kohl’s, it would probably be a toss up since you must use the Kohls CC for 30%. You’d end up about the same with a 15% coupon and the $10 back on a $50 purchase.
Maybe we should hold onto it in case they offer one of the 20%+ coupons without a Kohls CC to maximize it…
I have a branded AMEX through FIA Card Services. I don’t see the “My Offers” tab on that website. Are these statement credits only offered for AMEX cards that can be accessed through AMEX’s own website?
