Today’s Free Money Friday offer is really for everyone! American Express has a nice sign-up bonus with a low spend threshold on a card that is great for EveryDay use. The sign up bonus is worth $100.

How to Get Your Bonus

  1. Sign up for the AmEx EveryDay card.
  2. Spend $1,000 on your card within 3 months of card membership.
  3. Get 10,000 AmEx Membership Rewards points!

Terms and Conditions

  • No annual fee.
  • 3 months of card membership starts from the date your account is approved.
  • Points will be credited to your Membership Rewards account 6-8 weeks after the purchase threshold is met.

Earning Points. You can earn 2x points on supermarkets up to $6,000 and 1x points on all other purchases. Also, if you use your card 20 or more times each month, you’ll get 20% more points on those purchases.

Redeeming Points. If you are looking for ways to maximize the rewards you get for your AmEx points, we have some tips for you! You can spend your 10,000 points on a $100 gift card.

AmEx EveryDay Preferred. There is also an American Express EveryDay Preferred card with a 15,000 point sign up bonus that has a $95 annual fee but gives you a 50% bonus on points if you use your card at least 30x per month. That card also offers 3x on supermarket purchases and 2x on gas purchases (plus 1x on all others) so make sure you take a look at your spending habits before deciding which would be better for you.
