Points do not expire and there is no cap on how many you can earn.
More on the Wells Fargo Propel World Card
Earning Points. You earn 3x points on spending on airlines, 2x points on hotels and 1x points on everything else.
Redeeming Points. You can redeem the points you earn from your Wells Fargo Propel World card for gift cards as well as travel expenses. The 40,000 points should convert to $400 in gift cards or statement credits. It could be worth more as a travel redemption, but the terms aren’t very clear on the conversion values.
Travel Benefits. This card offers great travel benefits, including a $100 annual reimbursement for incidental travel charges like airline lounges, baggage fees, or onboard meals and entertainment. Plus, you are eligible for benefits and upgrades from the Luxury Hotel Program. You also won’t incur any foreign currency conversion fees when traveling abroad.
Annual Bonus. If you also have a Wells Fargo checking or savings account, you can earn an annual bonus of rewards points on points you’ve earned throughout the year (bonuses not included).
