Free Shipping Day, Amazon Prime, and Ohio 529s

When Amanda wrote about How to Score Big on Cyber Monday, I marked today in my calendar for a big day of online holiday shopping.

Free Shipping Day. Today is Free Shipping Day. It’s the day you can order online with free shipping and guaranteed delivery by Christmas Eve. Last I checked they had 714 merchants participating, so I’m sure there will be lots of shopping online today!

Amazon Prime. I did score a few extra days to shop with a free trial of Amazon Prime. I already used a free trial awhile ago, but Amazon let me do another one. You get free 2 day shipping. That translates into being able to shop until Tuesday December 22 at 8 pm PST and still get the package in time. It’s a pretty sweet deal for the procrastinator in me!

Ohio 529 Bonus Extended. Great news! The Ohio 529 College Advantage $25 – $100 Bonus was extended until Friday, Dec. 18. You have one more day to get your bonuses; we signed up for 3 more accounts for our daughter and niece this week to get the bonuses!
