Back in July, I ordered some checks from Vista Print. They were dirt cheap and had quick shipping. I figured some day that I’d write about them as a cheap place to buy checks.
I just got an email from VistaPrint that they are offering some great deals on holiday products. What caught my eye was the “Free Holiday Products and Free Holiday cards.”
It was a good thing they sent me the email, because I didn’t even realize how many more things they had than just checks and business cards!
Here’s a breakdown of their holiday promotions which expire December 31, 2008:
I called these almost free, because you still need to pay shipping. I checked out some of the cute holiday caricature address labels and the shipping was about $3. As I added additional items, the shipping only increased by about $2.
If you spend $50 on certain holiday items, there is free shipping.
I’m always on the lookout for making a deal extra special. After you make a purchase, you can refer your friends to earn referral money. Currently you can “earn a $5 reward such as a coupon to VistaPrint.com, Itunes, Amazon, and Target Gift Cards for every valid referral.”
I’m considering ordering the holiday photo cards from VistaPrint this year. They’re about half the price that we usually spend at JCPenney. However, that also means that we’ll need to get our kids to pose for a decent picture… something we haven’t been able to do quite yet!

I got the calender.
and it’s very nice. I loved that I could ad all my dates (birthdays and I even added oil changes, and reevaluate finances days!) and I added pics for each month! I love it! and I’m so going this route every year.
oh, shipping was about $8… so if you can I would spend the amount to get free shipping.
Oh, and it got here quickly too!
Good they provide freebies, however their quality of business cards is very questionable (not evenly cut, poor paper or ink quality). As a result, I had to re-order again with Overnight Prints.
@ Alexia: Glad to hear the calendar is nice. I might consider doing that for next year. (It would probably take me from now until Christmas to find 12 pictures I like!)
@ Leszek: Thanks for the feedback on the business cards… I’m off to check out Overnight Prints!
