The gift cards are part of Small Business Saturday, the day after Black Friday [2], to encourage you to shop at small businesses.
How to Enter the $25 Gift Card Giveaway
- Visit and “like” FedEx’s Facebook page [3].
- Enter the giveaway to receive a $25 American Express gift card by November 3, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
- They’ll randomly select 40,000 people to get an American Express $25 gift card [4] on or around November 4, 2012.
- Use the gift card on Small Business Saturday, November 24, 2012.

A Year Later. Last year the American Express $25 gift cards [4] were first-come, first-serve. We were able to score some of the gift cards last year, however, they had a lot of technical difficulties. Hopefully, it will run more smoothly this year since it’s random. The good news? They’re giving away 40,000 instead of 30,000 gift cards.
