IRA Bonus week continues with more Free Money [1]!
If any of you have changed jobs recently, you may be considering rolling over your old 401k into an IRA.
ETrade [2] is offering a few different bonuses for any IRA rollovers done by April 17, 2012.
How to Get your $100 – $600 Rollover Bonus
- Make a rollover into a new or existing ETrade [2] IRA.
- Make a rollover deposit by April 17, 2012.
- ETrade will deposit the bonus to your account within 45 days of April 17.
Amount of the Rollover Bonus
The amount of the rollover bonus for new IRAs is based on the size of the rollover:
- $100 Bonus: $25,000–$99,999
- $250 Bonus: $100,000–$249,999
- $600 Bonus: $250,000+
Terms and Conditions
- Offer applies only to new E*TRADE Securities Traditional, Roth, or Rollover IRAs accounts.
- Offer applies only to accounts opened with a minimum $2,000 deposit from an external bank or brokerage account.
- New funds or securities must remain in the account (minus any trading losses) for a minimum of 6 months or the credit may be surrendered.

Existing IRAs. For existing IRAs, the rollover bonus is slightly different for the top and bottom tier. Rollovers between $25,000 and $49,999 will get $50. Rollovers over $250,000 will get $500; all other amounts are the same as above.
