    These sundae dishes are not very expensive yet larger, heavier and altogether much nicer than I expected. My family and I have made different desserts including parfaits, fruit bowls, and ice cream sundaes for ourselves as well as guests. No matter what we serve, it always look as if its' ready to be photographed and placed in a cooking magazine. I love these and am ordering another set to give as a gift. I hope this review helps.

    These are serviceable sundae glasses, more festive than the usual cereal bowl and big enough to pack a few scoops of ice cream in with lots of toppings. They arrived intact, having been very well packed. But they lose points because of slightly sharp uneven edges along the bottom rim (lower quality glass manufacture). Buyers should also be warned that they are NOT made in the USA as advertised, but made in Mexico. It says so on the packaging. I have nothing against Mexico, but I did specifically choose these because they were described on Amazon as American-made. False advertising is not cool.

    I hesitate to give two stars because I very strongly dislike these, but I realize that some shoppers may actually be looking for cheap, clunky and quite large dessert dishes regardless of quality. That's just not what I had in mind. I knew they're 18oz when I ordered them, and while that is awfully large for ice cream dishes in my opinion, they look cute in the picture so I thought I'd give them a shot. The problem is that not only are they oversize, they're also extremely thick and heavy, giving them a really cheap look, made worse by the very pronounced seams left by the molds. The ones I received were coated in a thick layer of dust even inside the box, and after I cleaned one up, I saw the glass itself has a hazy, cloudy appearance to it. The walls are of uneven thickness, and the glass appears to have slumped, leaving horizontal ridges about an inch from the tops. I'm no shopping snob by any means, I love dollar stores, but if I saw these for a dollar apiece I wouldn't even have considered them.
    After reading my own review I'm changing to one star. It seems out of place with the two five star reviews but I guess it just depends on what you're looking for.

    I used to buy these dishes in Walmart, but they no longer carry them. They are perfect for my small dogs' food as they are slightly elevated which is better for their necks than eating from a bowl at floor level. Perfect size for a 20 lb pug! The glass is pretty thick so they have some weight to them. I have 3 pugs and these are their favorite bowls to eat out of.
