I bought these to have a little romantic lighting. I like them very much. I bought 2 sets. I've had them for over a year and they still work great. They run on 3 AAA batteries and add a nice touch to my mantle. They are great when I want to watch a movie by candlelight. They have 2 options, one to just turn them on and the other, to set them on a 6 hr timer. So, if you turn them on the timer, and leave or go to bed and forget to turn them off, they turn themselves off. Good product.
