    I bought this for my granddaughter to protect her Nintendo and because it had a different style charging port on it. She had damaged the original charging port, but with it secured in this case that wasn't such an issue as we were afraid she'd damage it to where it was unusable. What's really cool is that this case also has a battery in it that extends the life of their Nintendo gaming time for those long drives so you won't have to hear "are we there yet" every few seconds!! It's also a nice case to protect the body of the NIntendo too!

    We bought this in conjunction with the initial purchase of the DSI...it has been great! We sometimes take long trips and the extra battery life is simply a life saver. The case is tough enough to withstand anything you can muster, however, it is a glossy finish so it is easily scratched. Adding a matte finish is the only thing I'd change on it. Kudos to the design engineers!

    After spending my college fund on my dream toy, the Dsi tekcase in hot pink I was astounded at the quality of the holo projector and nuclear fission battery. I played a few games on the virtual reality interface and I have to say the picture quality was amazing, at 19020x10080 I could see the very molecules of water on a man's face. Before you spend your future on this marvelous product take into account the faulty teleporter unit that came with mine and several of my other friends. I was attempting to beam to pizza hut to pick up my food when the thing malfunctioned and vaporized my arm and lit my hair on fire. On closer inspection I found out that my molecular splitter was faulty, I consulted my friend bill gates and he also said his teleporter wasn't working, as well as the laser gun built into the rear exhaust manifold. I recommend this product, although the shipping is too expensive and you may have to go buy some new vat grown limbs.

    Even though the dsi isn't in production any longer I think companies would benefit from reviewing how people perceived their products. This dsi tekcase would have been so much better if it would have kept to the same theme of having a mated finish as the game itself rather than having a glossy finish. I found myself constantly wiping it down then opting not to touch it, then removing it, until needed for a longer trip away from changing access. The second thing would be that hump on the backside where it plugs into the game system. It would have been better if it was smaller. Other than that I'm glad I have it.

    Ordered this on December 14th and it was Delivered December 18th. Fast processing and on time delivery, along with a GREAT product. The picture shown makes this case look more purple than pink, but it is PINK and very pretty. Also seems to be great quality with the extra batter pack and to help protect the DS! Very happy buyer here!! Thank you!!! I also caught this sucker on sale for under $8. $30 is a bit expensive, but its a GREAT quality case. Some other reviews mentioned the bottom part is a bit thick, but I don't think it's too thick. You get a charger for the case, which also works for the DS itself with this and there is an backup batter in the bottom (which is why the bottom is thicker).
