This nursing cover is not worth the money at all. I always have to readjust it,because my daughter likes to play with it and she pulls it from side to side. The way it works is you just kind of hang it on your neck (like you would hang a necklace or something),there is no straps on this cover which will hold it in one place. I really don't like it and i wish i had returned it on time,so i didn't waste the money. The only thing is good about it is a white&black pattern. Do yourselves a favor and don't buy it,there are so many other nursing covers, that are much cheaper and better.

I bought this product because I am anticipating a road trip with my seven month old and wanted something that would allow me to be discreet while nursing in my car at rest stops. I think it is a great idea, and it would likely be great for use with newborns, however, once your child is old enough to start grabbing at everything in sight (4 months or so), the "hooter hider" (not a fan of the name either, by the way) becomes a nuisance. My son likes to yank on the fabric, every which way, to the point that wearing it draws attention as opposed to diverting it.
I find that while I am wearing it, I am spending more time rearranging it than concentrating on the task at hand, which is feeding my kid.
Again, in theory, this is a great product, in practice, it is awkward and more trouble than it is worth. I will stick with closing the blinds while I am at home. As for the road trip? I am not looking forward to busting out the hooter hider, but it may just be a necessary evil in that situation.

This item was a gift to me when I had my first child four years ago. I had never heard of it, so I'm so glad they sent it my way. This product got me through two babies, separated by 3 years, nursing each for a year. It's very durable. It's been washed and dried numerous times. And, it's been scrunched up and shoved into a stuffed diaper bag. It still looks in perfect condition. It's much better than using a blanket as a cover. As soon as your baby yanks on a blanket, it falls down. And you can't easily see your baby's face when you use a blanket. It also has come in handy at times that I did need a little extra blanket or sun cover up while the baby is in the stroller. My kids didn't get grabby to the point where it became challenging to use this product until they were about 10 months. Aside from carrying a pop-up tent to use when nursing in public, I'm not sure how one would get around this grabby-baby issue. Anyway, I love this product and highly recommend it.

Hooter Hider is the best nursing cover that I found. You can keep eye contact with your baby, and it's lightweight to not overheat him. You can also use as a sunscreen on the stroller or to cover while pumping in a public place (e.g., airport bathroom).

Very easy to use and gives better coverage than nursing tops. I love that the neck opening allows me to maintain eye-contact with my son, who was not a fan of blankets covering his face. My husband jokes that the polka-dot pattern I chose screams "LOOK OVER HERE," but this really is a great product for nursing modestly, if not completely discretely.

I love this product. I don't have a problem feeding my daughter wherever I am. I am pretty conservative and love that I don't have to hide whenever I need to feed. I am continue to feed and not be embarrassed or make anyone else embarrassed. I plan on getting my friend one of these for a shower gift.
