What Time Will Stores Open For Black Friday Shopping?

As part of our Black Friday shopping preparation, we need to know what time will stores open on Black Friday. However, the bigger question should really be: What time will stores open on Thanksgiving? Many stores are opening on Thursday night to kick off the holiday shopping season.

I don’t plan to shop on Thanksgiving, it’s still a holiday in my book, even if I can get a deal on the Skylanders Swapforce my kids put on their Christmas list.

To help you prepare, here’s a list of stores and the times they open, including any of the free stuff if it’s limited to the first few in line.

Thanksgiving Store Hours 2013

6 AM

• Kmart Thursday at 6:00am

4 PM

• Michael’s Thursday at 4:00pm

5 PM

• Toys R Us Thursday at 5:00pm

6 PM

• Shoe Carnival Thursday at 6:00pm; Free Surprise Reward Card to First 100 Customers
• Walmart Thursday at 6:00pm
• Best Buy Thursday at 6:00pm
• Sports Authority Thursday at 6:00pm; Free Bonus Bucks to First 80 Customers

8 PM

• Office Depot Thursday at 8:00pm
• Dick’s Sporting Goods Thursday at 8:00pm
• JCPenney Thursday at 8:00pm; Free snowglobes starting at 4am Friday
• Macy’s Thursday at 8:00pm
• Kohls Thursday at 8:00pm
• Target Thursday at 8:00pm
• Office Depot Thursday at 8:00pm
• Office Max Thursday at 8:00pm
• Sears Thursday at 8:00pm

9 PM

• Staples Thursday at 9:00pm

• Gander Mountain Friday at 12 am
• Petsmart Friday at 6:00am; Free Stocking to First 100 Customers
• Half Price Books Friday at 7:00am; Free tote bag and gift cards for the First 100 Customers
• Sam’s Club Friday at 7:00am
• Radio Shack Friday at 8:00am
• Costco Friday at 9:00 am (but some locations may open earlier)
