If you plan on your kids going to college this could be a really bad idea. Unless you want to pay the consequences of shifting ownership AGAIN  before they apply for FAFSA, they will be dinged royally for having the stocks in their name.</description>

Sometimes you forget that there are all sorts of ways to shift your money about. The key, as you mentioned, is to PLAN better. Starting now to plan for next year&#039;s taxes is a good thing. Figure out where everything should go to maximize your savings.</description>
