I already have a USAA checking acct, so I am not elligible. But, I have to say, if anyone is considering signing up, I highly recommend them. Their customer service is top notch and they have a great feature called "Deposit at Home" where you can deposit your checks with your scanner. So convenient. It's the little ways they "go the extra inch", as Linda Kaplan Thaler would say in her book The Power of Small, that really differentiates them from the rest of the pack.
