We have our first of many family holidays today. For once it’s not supposed to snow today so travel will be much easier. For those keeping track, we now have 21 inches of snow on the ground! Now on to the great personal finance articles of the week: 

Blueprint for Financial Prosperity and Get Rich Slowly are dueling in Don’t use Home equity to Pay off Unsecured Debt and Using a Home Equity Loan to Pay off Credit Cards. I’m actually doing the opposite and using my credit cards to pay off home equity!  

Million Dollar Journey put together a list of Personal Finance bloggers and ranked their net worth. As you know, I’ve debated whether or not to share our net worth and decided only to use percentages, but I do give away a little tip in the comments of his post!

The Nintendo Wii is hot! Gather Little By Little answers why are Nintendo Wii’s so hard to find? Cash Money Life examines how much the Wii’s cost, Credit Withdrawal tells a Wii Christmas story, and Single Guy Money got his Nintendo Wii for free!

Being Frugal asks do you have a will? We do, but we should probably revise it now that we have another child at home. Speaking of kids, Consumerism Commentary discusses overspending for the kids, and Moolanomy has Ten Preparing for Baby Tips. As a mom of two boys under two, I can vouch for these money saving tips!

Five Cent Nickel revisits the Best 529 plans. I agree with some of his choices, see which plans we use.
