Looks like Perkstreet discontinued the deal. Too bad, it was a good one while it lasted.

You say the offer is valid until 2/28, but it's 2/23 now and the offer doesn't show on their website; the linkoffers.net affiliate jump on your link now points to a 2% for 90-days on non-PIN (you know, the ones that cost the merchant a whole boatload of cash per transaction?), not a $50-after-ninety-days deal.

The only $50 deal I could find is outside of your affiliate link; it requires a $250 initial deposit and a bucketload of non-PIN transactions. Either way, doesn't currently seem worth the hassle.

The first post I made dec 4 was jumping the gun. Since then I have spoke with perk street and they made it right. It was my error and jumping the gun. I would for sure tell anyone to sign up for the account it will kill any rewards checking account you can find.

Sorry Dan and the perk street team.

This company has some very nice stuff in the pipeline.

@ Curt: Thanks for following up on Dave's comment. We have lots of readers here at My Dollar Plan that like to take advantage of free money offers. It's good to know when a company stands behind their offers.

Full disclosure here: I work for PerkStreet Financial and wanted to respond to Dave’s post above. The correct bonus was applied to his account but there is a slight lag between when an account is first opened and when the offer details appear in our customer service system. This caused some confusion, but we have reached out to Dave and resolved his issues.

Watch out for these people.

You more then likely will not get the bonus.

There system is junk. Bonus does not get applied to every account because of software glitches.

“Thanks for your email; I apologize for the trouble. Please provide your full name or account number and I will reset your information. I think that there was a processing error in our New Accounts department as several other customers were affected as well.

Best Regards,
Steve

Does anyone know what "use your account" means? Does it mean just have at least one monthly wothdrawal, purchase, what?
Other than that, I think sounds good! No household limit, so 1 for me and 1 for hubby :)

Thanks,

Ifi
