How to Find Coupons for Groceries

Posted by Kristen on July 24, 2014

While watching Extreme Couponers one day, I was amazed at the amount of coupons they always have. Since I felt like I rarely come across that abundance of coupons, I decided to start making more of an effort to find coupons to save more money on my grocery bill.

How to Find Coupons for Groceries

Here are some places I look to find coupons for groceries:

  1. Product specific websites:
Visit any specific product’s websites, and they may have a tab for coupons, promotions, or specials. You can find printable coupons right on their website.
  2. Social media pages for products:
If you can’t print out coupons from a specific product’s website, check out their social media pages, like Facebook and Twitter. Many companies will post links for coupons if you “Like” them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
  3. Writing in to a company:
Sometimes if you send a company a quick e-mail asking for coupons, they will send you some via e-mail or through the mail.
  4. Your local grocery store:
From your grocery store, you can find coupons on their website, in the weekly sales paper, on their social media pages, and even throughout the aisles. Don’t forget to always join the rewards program at the grocery store to save money on all of your purchases.
  5. Check out coupon websites:
Visit sites like Coupons.com, Couponmom.com, and Save.com to print off coupons from products you buy.
  6. Newspapers and Magazines:
Your local newspaper will most likely offer coupons, especially on Sundays. You may even find coupons at smaller, more local publications. Before you toss your magazine, check for coupons. Especially with magazines like Good Housekeeping, Food Network, and Better Homes and Gardens, you can find coupons throughout the magazine. You can get a discounted subscription for your local newspaper through Discounted Newspapers.
