Carnivals are in Town!

carnival-horse.JPGThis week a reader asked, “What is a carnival?” It’s a showcase of all the best articles for the week (or month) from blogs about a certain topic. Different sites take turns hosting and each of the participating sites and others link back. It gives readers a great place to read about all the new articles on a certain topic, and it gives writers a chance to showcase their best posts to a larger audience.

With that, here’s the carnivals that My Dollar Plan participated in and my favorite articles at each:

Carnival of Debt Reduction

Carnival of Personal Finance

Carnival of Financial Goals - the first ever!

  • My post about my 2008 Financial Resolution was included. It maps out our net worth plans for the next nine years.
  • Being Frugal is going to read 12 books in 2008. I can’t wait to read each review, because unfortunately, book reading just doesn’t make my priority list.
  • Paid Twice’s 2008 goal: No More Credit Card Debt. She wants to pay it all off by August.

Festival of Frugality

Tax Carnival
