I bought a few of these for my classroom
I am an Elementary Art Teacher I purchased a few of these for my classroom. Definitely better for older grades. Took a couple tries to get a smooth glide but once you get the hang of it lots of fun.

I was a bit surprised to get this item, because of how small it was. I thought I was ordering the traditional sized one. It is nice and compact. Comes in a closable tin case. The pens included work well. There is putty to hold the wheel in place and it works well in holding it in place. My 6 year old granddaughter used it and quite liked the patterns it made. Although she did have a bit of difficulty tracing around the large wheel without slipping off track. I would say 6 years of age would be the beginning age for this toy. She had fun with it and made several pictures with the drawing pad that was included. It's a nice compact toy and fun for the artsy type young kids.
