Happy Cyber Monday! We have lots of online shopping to do, so let’s cut right to the annual checklist: score a great deal (that you can actually give to someone), with free shipping, the best coupons, the highest cash back, and purchased with credit card cash back!

Here’s our annual checklist to get it done:

1. Cyber Monday Deals

There’s no need to find your own deals when we have all the deal sites at our fingertips. Here are my favorite places to scope out the deals today (almost all of my holiday shopping originates from these three places!):

  • Amazon Movers & Shakers ^[2]: Identifies hot selling items right now, which is often a good indicator that they might have a great deal going on.

2. Maximize Cash Back

Once you know what you want to buy, my next stop is the cash back sites ^[5] that Kate is talking about each weekend. Login to your Ebates ^[6], Mr. Rebates ^[7], or whichever account you are using to get cash back on your purchase. Be sure to watch for any double cash back offers, which usually start flooding our email boxes this week each year.

3. Ship It Free

My favorite way to ship for free is through our Amazon Prime ^[11] account. If you don’t have Amazon prime there are plenty of ways to get free Amazon prime shipping during the holiday season:

4. Coupons and Rewards

Coupons. Before checking out, I’ll double check for any coupons on Retail Me Not ^[14] or Coupon Cabin ^[15] to make sure I’m stacking the deal in the best way possible.

Rewards. In addition, I’ll make sure that I entered any information needed to earn points for the Rewards Programs ^[16] at each store.

5. Credit Card Cash Back

Then it’s off to purchase using the credit card that will give the most cash back ^[17]. I’ll check my options with the cards offering special holiday shopping cash back. Here’s what I have lined up:
